1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using GetPDFMint ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service.

2. Description of service

GetPDFMint provides free online tools including:

• Document to PDF conversion (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and more)
• PDF merging (combine multiple PDFs into one)
• Text utilities (word counter, case converter, JSON/YAML formatter, etc.)
• Text comparison (diff checker)

The Service is provided free of charge with no registration required.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not upload or process:

• Files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Files or content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Copyrighted material you do not have the right to use
• Content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
• Any content that infringes on the rights of others

You are solely responsible for the files you upload and the content you process using the Service.

4. File ownership & responsibility

By uploading a file to GetPDFMint, you confirm that:

• You are the owner of the file, or have explicit permission to use it
• The file does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights
• You take full responsibility for the content of files you upload

5. File handling & deletion

Files uploaded to the Service are processed and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We do not retain your files beyond this period. You are responsible for downloading your converted files promptly, as they will not be available after deletion.

6. Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

7. File size & usage limits

• Maximum file size: 25 MB per file
• PDF merge: up to 20 files per request
• We reserve the right to impose additional rate limits to ensure fair use for all users

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that conversions will be perfect, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetPDFMint and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or any other loss.

10. Intellectual property

The GetPDFMint name, logo, and website design are the property of Anjan Kesh Singh. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission. All user-uploaded content remains the property of the respective owners.

11. Modifications to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.
