Frequently asked questions

What will the Excel file contain?

Each detected table gets a separate worksheet. A Summary sheet lists source pages and review notes. Where no reliable table is found, readable text is exported as lines for manual organization. Images, charts, formulas, original formatting and surrounding text outside detected tables are not recreated.

Can it read scanned PDFs?

Automatic English OCR runs on image pages with little or no selectable text. Clear, upright printed scans work best. Handwriting, other languages, skewed scans and mixed image-and-text pages may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review every OCR value against the original.

What are the limits?

Upload one PDF up to 25 MB with no more than 200 pages. Convert up to 50 selected pages, including at most 10 scanned pages. Very complex files can exceed processing limits. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

Are numbers and IDs preserved?

Plain numbers and percentages can become Excel numeric cells. Leading zeros, long identifiers, dates and ambiguous number formats stay as text. Turn off numeric cells to keep every extracted value as text. Text starting with a formula sign is never executed.

How much can I preview?

The preview shows up to 20 rows and 12 columns from each of the first 20 data worksheets. Long cells are shortened in the preview. The downloaded workbook includes all extracted rows and the Summary sheet; review it before relying on the result.

What happens to my files?

Processing runs on the server over HTTPS. The uploaded source is removed after processing. The server workbook expires within one hour, or you can delete it immediately. Removing the PDF only clears this tab. A workbook already loaded in your browser remains downloadable after its server copy is deleted.
