Why can I not edit some text?
A scanned page contains an image rather than editable text. Some PDFs also use complex font encodings or layouts that limit direct editing. For image-only scans that need editable text, try Scanned PDF to Word. For a longer rewrite of a text-based document, try PDF to Word.
How do I fill a PDF form?
Use the PDF form filler for supported form fields or to add text to a flat form. Review entries and alignment before downloading. A drawn signature or an inserted signature image is a visual mark; it is not a certificate-based digital signature.
Does a white rectangle remove sensitive text?
No. Covering text with a shape changes its appearance but does not reliably remove the underlying content. Do not treat a visual cover-up as secure redaction.
Review the final PDF
